font-size set to 0.875em.
The horizontal menu bar has in fact 8 elements, but the three which have wrapped have escaped their green background, and have become invisible. The menu is assumed to require only a single line.
The left sidebar and central content are floated left, but are pushed off the right of the screen by the faulty menu bar.
Three columns are crammed in regardless of available space.
